Murphy graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Loyola University Chicago in 2021 and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2024 with a concentration in Business Compliance and Estate Planning. She also was a dedicated member of the Nebraska Law Review, serving as the Symposium Editor for Volume 102 and publishing her own student publication in Volume 102:2. During her time as Symposium Editor, she coordinated the first Nebraska Law Review in-person symposium since 2008, an event and subsequent publication that focused on the federal incarceration system.
Along with her current litigation experience, Murphy has a vast knowledge of transactional matters from her time as a student attorney in the Nebraska Law Estate Planning Clinic. Murphy also earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Mediation and competed in the INADR International Law School Mediation Tournament in 2024. She continues to flex her mediator muscle as a volunteer mediator for Lancaster County's Mediation Center.
Outside of the office, Murphy enjoys spending time with her friends and family, attending Yoga classes, and catching the latest blockbuster movies. You can also catch her at a local concert or somewhere in the Midwest to see her favorite bands in person.
